Accuracy and Reputation
Treat incorrect answers as a measurement event: capture the prompt, system, date, and claim—then fix the public evidence that supports the error.
Save the prompt, product/system, date, and the wrong claim exactly. Without that record, you cannot verify whether a later answer improved.
Resist the urge to argue with one chat window and declare the problem solved. A correction inside a single conversation does not reliably rewrite the open evidence trail.
Update your website and major profiles so the correct facts are unambiguous. Then address third-party pages that still publish outdated claims when you can.
After material fixes, re-ask under comparable conditions. Some systems refresh faster than others; only a disciplined rerun shows what moved.
Coastline documents accuracy failures in the baseline and tracks whether they clear on verify. The triage rules for which sources to chase first are part of the proprietary remediation method.
Coastline Metrics does not publish proprietary prompt packs, scoring formulas, remediation playbooks, or operator workflows in the Resource Center. Those materials belong inside client engagements. What you will find here is durable education: how to think clearly about AI visibility, what evidence looks like, and what claims to reject.
Coastline Metrics measures how leading AI systems understand, describe, and recommend your business—and identifies what may be limiting your visibility.
